1979 offer letter

1979 offer letter

The College interviews had been held in early December and I received my offer letter just before Christmas 1978 – a fantastic early present! I was delighted that I only needed to get two A levels to gain admission to Queen’s to do PPE. This was the equivalent of an unconditional offer but at least two A levels were required in order for me to receive a maintenance grant and for my tuition fees to be paid by the government.
